Welcome to Rotary Club Nakawa

Rotary Club of Nakawa was admitted by Rotary International on the 19th May 2021 and was subsequently Charted and given the instrument of power on the 28th June 2021. This was during the lockdown and our char-ter celebrations were done online. We missed the joy and fun that we had prepared for along time. I remember each one of us was in our homes and our videos were displayed one by one as our names were being ready. Great thanks to PDG John Magezi Ndamira presided over the char-ter celebrations. It is there for of great joy today to be here to celebrate the second charter night and witness the installation of our 3rd President.

Our club was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Sunrise Kampala and it was chartered with 28 Charter members. Membership has grown to 33 todate. The Rotary Club of Nawaka was registered as a company Limited by Guar-antee in December 2021.

The Club has been able to change and impacted greatly on the peoples’ lives through Medical camps, Maternal and Healthy support, and Literacy and Education support
